TRICARE Insurance Prime Plan:

Usually, on-duty members and their family members under the Prime policy don’t need to pay for their insurances.
TRICE Select:
TRICARE Select policy is a preferred healthcare plan for civilians. The users here have the freedom of choosing their primary care manager and get self-reference to specialists. The well-child visits plan under the provider has no fees, but other appointments are chargeable. The service status of the user determines the enrolment fees they pay for the insurance.
TRICARE Reserve Select:
The TRICARE Reserve Select insurance policy is for the traditional reservist and National Guards. The policy works in the same manner as the TRICARE select plan. The only difference here is that the user needs to bear the insurance premium by them.
TRICARE Insurance for Life:
The TRICARE for Life policy is a healthcare plan that offers supplement coverage on healthcare for the U.S. military retirees and their spouses beyond the age of 65 years. The retiree needs to enrol with the Part B of the Medicare policy and bear the monthly insurance premiums.
Though TRICARE for Life policy is a benefit assigned for retirees beyond the age of 65 years, service members taking voluntary retirement often confuse it with the “TRICARE as a lifetime insurance policy” concept.
TRICARE Young Adult:
Like the name suggests, the TRICARE Young Adult is an insurance policy for dependent family members of military service members who are still students and fall under the age group of 23-25 or non-students in the age group of 21-25. The Healthcare Law determines their enrolment fee, and users need to pay for it themselves.
TRICARE Dental Plan:
The United Concordia manages the TRICARE dental policy. The contractor makes the policy available for active-duty members, Reserve members, Guardsmen and their families. Retirees willing to enjoy the benefits of dental benefits need to obtain coverage from Federal Employees Dental and Vision Insurance Program.
